It is with the utmost regret that we announce the closing of V’s Diner in Casselberry. While we can look back and theorize at all the things we could have done differently or did not do, we want to use this opportunity to focus on the many things we did accomplish. Although ultimately not financially successful, we were extremely successful in numerous other ways. In creating an amazing space for our community, a fully house-made hand-crafted vegan meat program, a world class vegan bakery program, a reliable daily solution for guests at every different step on their journey towards veganism, and at times over-the-top hospitality to create some amazing experiences. We don’t know yet what the future holds for V’s Diner. Today was intense. You guys showed us so much love we ran out of many items. We’re regrouping in the morning to prep everything we can for tomorrow. Hopefully we still have anything to open on Sunday. Thank you for the support as we work through our awkward phase.

Friends, we just wanted to be fully transparent with what has been going on with V’s Diner. When we signed our lease we had budgeted for a build out within a 4 month timeframe. Ultimately that ended up being 18 months and over five times the cost, six times after including rent. When we opened our doors the community came out in droves, fully supporting V’s and our mission to deliver some of the best vegan food in town and we couldn’t thank you enough for that support. Yes, we have had some consistency issues and staffing issues but being a new business that takes some time to sort out and through a lot of hard work we have got those things where they need to be. We have been closed the last few days because the partners have been meeting trying to figure out IF we can afford to stay open because recently sales have declined fairly drastically and unfortunately our expenses have remained the same. So where is V’s going from here? Short of someone coming in to buy the entire company, we have decided to give this thing one more shot and do everything we can to remain in business. We ask you to please do what you can to support us any way you can. If you can’t eat here please share our information on social media and let your friends know we’re here.
